Hierarchical structure of user management according to the top-down principle. User groups All user groups that are enabled for the respective user are displayed on the left side of the screen with a tree structure. If the user wants to create user groups, these are also shown in this overview. The highest user group is your “own” or highest possible user group for the current user. This user group can only be edited by a user from a hierarchically superordinate user group. If permitted by the user rights, it is possible to create and manage descendant user groups and users. Only users and user groups in a hierarchically subordinate user group can be edited (with the required rights). Select a user group To select a user group for further actions, click one of the user groups displayed in the tree structure. The user group will now appear in display mode and can be further edited. Tip The tree structure can be used to quickly find the desired user groups! Display user group Once you have selected a user group (see  Select a user group ), it will be displayed as a dashboard on the screen in display mode. By default, the dashfields  ,  ,  ,  ,  ,   and   are displayed for the selected user group. Edit master data If you are not trying to edit your “own” user group and if you have the necessary rights, you can now edit the selected user group. Click   at the bottom of the screen. Then edit the desired general information (name, company name, abbreviation) or the company address and then click   (bottom of the screen) to confirm the changes. If you do not want to make any changes, click   (bottom of the screen). The previous screen will be displayed. Descendant user groups In the   dashfield you can create new user groups as well as display, edit and delete existing user groups. Create new user group If you want to create a new user group, click the   button in the   dashfield. You can now enter general information and the company address. Finally, click   to confirm your entry, or click   to return to the previous screen. Display, edit or delete descendant user groups To display descendant user groups, either click the location of the user group to receive a detailed view without changing the user group, or use  . If you use   to display the user group, it will be automatically become the selected user group. It is now possible to edit the user group as described in the " Edit user group " section. To return to the previous user group, use the tree structure on the left side of the screen. To edit the user group, either select   and then   or directly click   in the drop-down menu. Editing takes place as described in the  " Edit user group " section. If you want to delete the user group, select   in the drop-down menu. A confirmation field will appear with the question if you really want to delete the user group. If you want to delete the user group, confirm with  . If you do not want to delete the user group, click   to return to the user group. Activated categories This dashfield contains information about the categories enabled for you by ELOGATE. This dashfield is provided for informational purposes only and can be hidden simply using the hide function. User You can manage the individual users of the displayed user group in the   dashfield. You are able to display, edit, delete, archive existing users as well as manage rights and access data. Create new user To create a new user, click the   button. In the following view, enter the personal data of the user and then click   to confirm the entry or   to return to the previous screen. Please note that the newly created user  automatically receives the same access rights  as the user who created the new user. To change the access rights for the new user, follow the instructions in the   "Edit user"  menu item. New users automatically have the rights of the user who created them! To secure the data-protection in ELOGATE, users will be deactivated automatically after 6 months of inactivity (no login for more than 6 months). Display user If you want to retrieve more information about the user, click the user’s name to receive a detailed view without calling up the user or click   to open the display mode.   can also be accessed via the drop-down menu. In display mode, you will find the personal data of the user, the online statistics and the respective access rights. Edit user To edit the user and define the access rights, select the   function in the drop-down menu or click   in display mode. Now you can edit the user’s personal data and manage the access rights.  The assignment of rights in ELOGATE is hierarchically organized and can take place on the main menu item level or on the sub menu item level. Click next to the respective menu item on   (check symbol) or   (x symbol). The access rights will also be represented in color. If an access right has been granted, the menu item will be highlighted in  green . If the access is not permitted, the respective menu item will be highlighted in  red .    Delete user If you want to delete a user, click   in the drop-down menu. A control field will appear with the question if you really want to delete the user. If you really want to delete the user, click  . If you do not want to delete the user, click   to return to the previous screen. Users can only be completely deleted if they have not yet actively used functions in ELOGATE. As soon as users become active and create transport orders, for example, they can no longer be deleted but only archived. Archive user If you want to archive a user, click   in the drop-down menu. A control field will appear with the question if you really want to archive the user. If you really want to archive the user, click  . If you do not want to archive the user, click   to return to the previous screen. If users have been archived, they are no longer displayed as active users. The procedures carried out by the users are still available. In addition, the user access data is immediately canceled so the user no longer has any system access. If you want to restore archived users, please contact the  ELOGATE-Support  staff.   Tip Use the archiving function for employees who have left the company or who no longer work with ELOGATE! Block access for user If you want to block access for a user, click   in the drop-down menu. A control field will appear with the question if you really want to block access for the user. If you really want to block access for a user, click  . If you do not want to block access for the user, click   to return to the previous screen. Enable access for user If access is blocked for a user and you want to re-enable access, click   in the drop-down menu. A control field will appear with the question if you really want to enable access for the user. If you really want to enable access for a user, click  . If you do not want to enable access for the user, click   to return to the previous screen. Send access data to the user Once you have created a new user, you can send the access data to the user. To do so, click   in the drop-down menu and the user will receive an e-mail with the access data and password for ELOGATE. Change password If you want to change your password, click   in the drop-down menu. A new window will open where you can change your password. Enter a new password and then click   to confirm your new password or click   to return to the previous screen. Access rights Download user rights With this function, you can easily download a list of users including their access rights as an Excel sheet. To do so click   and follow the instructions regarding opening or saving. You can edit and change the rights in the Excel sheet and then upload them via “Drag and Drop” or by clicking the   button. Settings Look and Feel You can make individual changes to the ELOGATE design for the respective user group in the “Look and Feel” dashfield. In the “Logo path”, enter the path to your logo to use your personal logo for the entire application. In addition, under “Satiamo themes” you can select from various themes to customize your application. The changes can be seen for the users of the respective user group at the next login. Tip Use "Look and Feel" und individualise ELOGATE just how you like!   Module The “Module” dashboard displays the modules used by the user.  You can see which modules (Accounting/Loading device management/Time Window Management/Supplier evaluation) are activated or deactiv ated . Optionally, you can change the settings regarding the Dispo. Enter the maximum deviation from the price in & in the field  , when you want to be informed about a transport order, which surpasses this percentage. Activate the checkbox   to send the information to the logistics department.  Choose the person required in the field  . Activate the checkbox   if you want to stop SmartDispo at surpassing the percentage. You can decide how you want to continue the procurement. Activate the checkbox   if you want to send the order to the dispatcher of the self-collector. Deactivate the checkbox   if you want to send the order to the  e-mail address   entered in the company master data. If there is no  e-mail address entered  in the company master data, it will be sent to the dispatcher of the self-collector. Additionally, you can activate the checkbox   or  , if the LSP should be informed whether he has not specified a vehicle mark nor booked a time window. The LSP gets an e-mail notification one day before the loading/unloading. Activate the checkbox  , if you want to hide expired offers in the transport order process in the module E-Aviso.  Activate the checkbox    if you want to highlight (orange) transport orders, which remain longer than 120 min in the status "Sent". Example:  . Activate the checkbox  in order to automatically adapt the time window duration per loading space.  Activate the checkbox   in order to automatically adapt the loading devices per loading space. Activate the checkbox   in order to show an additional price field in the field  "Alternative offer"   for the entry of the price for an unloader in the menu point "E-Aviso > Dispo > Create shipment.  Furthermore you are able to choose the curency in the drop-down menu right next to the field unloader.  If you choose a currency for a dispatcher, it will be automatically saved for the next time! In the menu point E-Aviso > Dispo you have the possibility to interrupt the transmission from your ERP-System to Elogate (in use of EDI-interface), if you make changes of the loading space, weight or loading device. For this, click on the button   in the shipment entry mask while creating a shipment.  In the menu point Settings > Users > Settings you are able to define, which fields should be locked. Activate the checkbox   , if you want to prevent changes of the loading space. Activate the checkbox  , if you want to prevent changes of the loading device. Activate the checkbox  ,if you want to prevent changes of the weight. Activate all checkboxes, if either changes of the loading space, the weight, nor the loading device in your ERP-system should be transmitted to Elogate.  Dayplanlink If the user group-setting is disabled, the company setting will be hide. Printer In order to use the printer options the printers must first be configured in the system. To add a printer, click   in the “Printer” dashfield. Enter the printer address in the field  . Enter a description of the printer   and select  . If it is a default printer, select  Optionally, you can enter the hardware configuration in the field  Finally, click   to confirm your entry, or click   to return to the previous screen. Tip If you want to send your shipping documents in ELOGATE (CMR, shipping label ...) directly to different printers, it is necessary to configure the printer settings in the ELOGATE-Print-Service. For this service please contact the  ELOGATE-SUPPORT.   Show printer If you want to display more information about the printer, click  or   in the drop-down menu. The general information about the printer will appear in display mode. Edit printer To edit the printer and change the settings, select the   in the drop-down menu. Finally, click   to confirm your entry, or click   to return to the previous screen. Delete printer If you want to delete a printer, click   in the drop-down menu. A control field will appear with the question if you really want to delete the printer for all users. If you really want to delete the printer, click  . If you do not want to delete the printer, click   to return to the previous screen.
