--- title: "ERP interface" canonical: "https://elogate.refined.site/space/BM/27787293/ERP%20interface" format: markdown --- The submenu [https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BM/pages/27787293](https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BM/pages/27787293) describes how the electronic data exchange functions between your ERP system and ELOGATE. # Incoming processing (ERP → ELOGATE) Any data that is sent from your ERP system via an interface (e.g., IDOC, [https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ESIFO/pages/3272605697](https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ESIFO/pages/3272605697), [https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SSI/pages/3401646156](https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SSI/pages/3401646156), etc.) to ELOGATE is checked for its validity by the web service. During this procedure, also the shipment identifier is requested. If this number is already available in ELOGATE, an update on this shipment is performed. If certain [https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BM/pages/27787268/Dispo+-+EN#AutoDispo-Rules](https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BM/pages/27787268/Dispo+-+EN#AutoDispo-Rules) have been defined for a shipment, it is automatically dispatched and moved to the “Transport order” register. If no rules have been defined, the shipment will be stored in the [https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BM/pages/27787268/Dispo+-+EN#Control-station](https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BM/pages/27787268/Dispo+-+EN#Control-station). # Error processing If the transmitted message is not valid because of incorrect data, the shipment will be marked in **red** in the [https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BM/pages/27787268/Dispo+-+EN#Control-station](https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BM/pages/27787268/Dispo+-+EN#Control-station). To identify the cause of the error, click on the 🔽 button next to the shipment and select **Edit new shipment **from the dropdown list. Correct the shipment data and click on 💾 **Save** to confirm your entry, or click on the :cross_mark: **Cancel** button to return to the previous screen. If you click on the 🔽 button next to the shipment and select **Edit new shipment** and then click on 💾 **Save** without editing the shipment data, a popup window will display the error cause. You cannot save the shipment until the error is corrected. However, changes to comments are excluded from the classification. Colored buttons are displayed in the submenu [https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BM/pages/27787268](https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BM/pages/27787268) at the left-hand side at the bottom that corresponds to the severity code of the change: 🔴 Displays the number of **severe **changes made in your ERP system. 🟠 Displays the number of **important **changes made in your ERP system. 🟡 Displays the number of **moderate **changes made in your ERP system. ⬛ Display the number of shipments that were marked as **deleted**. The change is acknowledged by clicking the button and then the button is no longer displayed. In the submenu [https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BM/pages/27787285](https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BM/pages/27787285) of the [https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BM/pages/27787284](https://jirasatiamo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BM/pages/27787284) select your user group and click on the ⚙️ button on the top right-hand side. Now you can see the settings for the different modules. Navigate to the tab **EDI** and click on it. In the setting group **Shipment **scroll down to the **Supplier Change Verbosity **setting. From the dropdown list, select the severity level. By doing so, you can define the minimum level of severity changes that need to be sent automatically via e-mail to the LSP dispatcher. Furthermore, tick the check box ✔️ **Document severe changes **to capture severe changes. > 📝 **Example** > 📝 > 📝 If you select **Low **from the dropdown list, this means that everything above and including low-level changes are sent via e-mail to the LSP. By default, the LSP is **not informed **about any changes. > ℹ️ Interface changes are automatically displayed as push notifications, if “Show push notifications” is activated in the settings.
