Show all EDI configurations Click the name of the EDI connection to receive a detailed view without calling up the EDI connection. Click  or click  in the drop-down menu to switch to display mode. Edit EDI configuration/Create new EDI configuration.   For the creation of an EDI, always contact the  ELOGATE-Support staff to agree upon the configuration.   To edit a current EDI configuration, click  in display mode or select in the drop-down menu. To create a new EDI configuration, click  in the overview. The following configuration is the same when editing a current EDI or when creating a new EDI.   Transmission type: A differentiation is made between E-Mail transmission, E-Mail transmission (dynamic), FTP transmission, Send to Printer, SFTP, SMS transmission and web service transmission in the “Transmission type” input field. Select the desired transmission type by clicking the respective button. Enter the desired name (freely selectable) of the EDI  at the beginning of the configuration.   Data only from:  lists all data sources created and available for the data transmission. If you select for example “Mustermann Speditions GmbH”, only data that refers to Mustermann Speditions GmbH is used for the data transmission. If you select “All”, the data for all listed companies will be used for the data transmission.   Warning Please make sure that before activating the EDI again that you selected all the data sources needed for the data transmission in order to avoid the failed transmission of sensitive data!   For the E-mail transmission type the data will be sent to the recipient in the future by e-mail. Enter the e-mail address  for the desired data recipient who should automatically receive the data via ELOGATE. Normally the e-mail addresses of the service providers are entered to transmit transport orders, credit notes or other information for the transport. Please note however that the e-mail address of the recipient does not necessary have something to do with the data source. Any e-mail address can be entered as the recipient. If you decide for FTP transmission of the data, the host, port, path and user name and password must be entered: The required data is either received from your partner with whom you would like to exchange data, or you can create this data yourself with an FTP configuration. When transmitting via SMS specific settings must be carried out by the   ELOGATE-Support staff. Please contact ELOGATE if you would like to use this service. For the web service transmission, first select the web service method according to the provided selection options. Then enter the user name, the password and the path. If you want to wrap the message with a user defined XML tag, activate the checkbox and enter the desired start and end tag:   Data type: Select  when you want to exchange credit note data with your transmission partner, “Transport order” if you want to transmit transport orders or “Shipment” if you want to send data regarding the shipment operation via EDI.   Credit note date type: If you have selected , you can configure additional transmission details. First select the point in time when you want the transmission to take place in the dropdown-field . You can select between “After the credit note is created” or “After the credit note is processed”.  In , only “SATIAMO 1.0” can be selected. Accept “SATIAMO 1.0” and continue with the next input field.     Transport order data type: With the “Transport order” data type, there are no selection options regarding when the transport order should be transmitted. The EDI of the transport order takes place automatically when the service provider accepts the transport order. In , only “SATIAMO 1.0” can be selected. Accept “SATIAMO 1.0” and continue with the next input field.     Shipment data type: With the “Shipment” data type you can influence the time of the transmission. Select  for transmission after the registering of the driver. Select  if you want to transmit when starting the loading/unloading process or select  if you want to transmit the EDI after finishing the loading/unloading process.   Output Specific Settings: Next select the desired output and data format for the data transmission in the dropdown-field . You can select individually between the provided options (user group dependent).   Please agree upon the output format with your transmission partner to make sure that your partner can process the data.   The two input fields  and  are optional and do not need to be filled out. If you want to give your file a prefix, enter the prefix in this field. If you want to give your file an extension, enter the extension in this field. When your configuration is complete, click  to confirm your entries, or click  to return to the previous screen. Delete EDI configuration To delete an EDI configuration, select the desired EDI configuration from the overview and click  in the drop-down menu. Click  to delete the configuration, or click  to return to the previous screen. Log All incoming data transmissions are recorded in the log. You are able to delete and update the log. To do so, use the buttons provided for this, “Yes, delete” or “Update”.
